Tyler – You’ve got an awesome website. You have some great programming going on over there in your box and I NEED to get over and see your spot in person. Thanks Tyler.
Hey Will,
Man, anytime you’re able, you’re more than welcome to come through. I met… Brian…? Pretty sure it was Brian, at the St. Paul competition. Good guy, come on by when you get the chance.
Talk to you later.
Tyler
95# SDHP, 10# ball shots, sub’d jump squats for the Thai squats because of the knee => 7 rounds. Seems like the endurance is improving a little after the first week – feels good.
Warmup: DL 275/305/325(!)
WOD: 8 rounds + 8 SDHP + 1 WBS (Rx)
(If Joe doesn’t post … he ROCKED 255×5 DL – 80 lbs over previous max!!!!)
(Awesome!)
WOD – 7 rounds RXD + 2 SDHP
Nice pic, Ian:)
DL 305 (2) – 295 (5) – 295 (3)
WOD 7Rds + 8 SDHP + 8 WB + 7 Thai Squats
Thai squats slowed me big time
Great job Ian and Joe on the Deadlifts!!!
Hey Tyler,
This is Matt. I came around Thanksgiving and worked out with you a couple days and one on one with you. I just wanna say ive been using your WOD’s along with a strict diet out here in Afghanistan. I just want to say the result are incredile. Just with I had some instruction on Olympic lift (some of them i need improvement on). Thanks for repping CF in my home state because I rep CF out in the desert.
Matt
What’s a Thai squat? Like out to each side, one leg extended one bent? Tnx.
Warm-up DL: 205/225/245 (up from a previous 3×3 at 255)
Rx WOD, only 5 rounds plus 8 SDHP, 8 WB, 2 thai squats
Thai squats are like a lunge position, jump and turn to lunge the other leg. Sort of twisting, side to side, jumping from lunge to lunge in one place. They’re tough.
It was a sneaky leg week. The broad jumps really crushed my legs, but I loved it. That ladder workout was sneaky good.
Ian, nice job on the 325 deadlift
Today was rough…by the time I was finished with the workout, I believe I was -2000 calories for the day. (can of slimfast at 9am was today’s only nutrition)…however, on the bright side, I did 5 kipping pull-ups today, and I made sure to do a few sets to make sure it wasn’t a “fluke”!
Amanda rocks!
Dl: 225, 275, 310.
40kg kb for sdhp, 90lb for thrusters, Thais as rxd
score: 6 full rounds and 1 partial (4 thrusters deep). Nice wod all.
