Wasn’t able to make it in today due to leaving for a trip, but made use of the new Rogue garage gym. Wasn’t sure about the details for the strict press/jerk and I subbed strict pull ups for the sprinting.
Last set: 5 reps @ 135 strict press, 1 jerk. Press wasn’t feeling strong today.
Death by Strict Pull-ups: With a continuously running clock perform:
1 Pull-up in the first 1 min,
2 Pull-ups in the second 1 min
3 Pull-ups in the third 1 min
Continuing this for as long as you are able.
Once I hit 6, I did as many reps as I could for each subsequent minute until I got to 10 minutes (11 rounds): 3,2,2,2,2 for a total of 11 rounds and 32 pull-ups, all strict.
Good workout but no substitution for the coaching and esprit de corps you get in the box.

Sprints were a killer on the legs.
I used to run 100m and 400m for my college team,
I quit as there was too much pressure to win..dumb move maybe when i look back…
So always on sprints day i get anxiety,like i HAVE to win.hate that feeling.
I did win though today haha…

Sprints are always fun until I lose a gear…. getting older I guess..

Sprints felt ok – need to spend more time sprinting if I want to get to a place where full speed feels good. Prolly held back quite a bit
Loved the sprints. No really… I did! Thinking/wishing we should do more sprinting…
