Classes at CFSP on Monday…

This is a reminder that CrossFit Minneapolis will be closed tomorrow, Monday the 13th. CrossFit St. Paul has offered to host all CFMPLS athletes at their gym during any of their listed class times. Class at CFMPLS will resume according to the usual schedule on Tuesday.  I apologize for the inconvenience.

now, to more important things-is anyone at the gym a water skier? namely, who knows where we could and would like to ski mornings or evenings? i know this may not be the best medium to ask these things, but the weather is getting nice out and i’m getting a major itch

  2. Greg says:

Or wakeboarding, my poor board has sat un-used since I moved from Detroit…

  3. Ian says:

I just want it noted that I have black and blue marks around my shoulder blades from Saturdays workout. I think I did something wrong. Googly.

  4. Stephanie says:

    Googly Ian?

Got 8 rounds + 3 HSPU + 5 Squat thrusts on the CFSP WOD today…essentially RX’d, had one ab mat for the HSPU.

  5. Jess says:

Ian- Don’t worry my shoulder blades were pretty marked up too.

Does someone have a boat? I love water skiing.

  6. Tom says:

    who invited jess?

  7. Andy says:

    9 rounds + 3 box things + 5 squat thrusts
I need to get comfortable being upside down so I can learn the HSPU

Also did 145# on the split jerk and could have done more. woo hoo!

  8. Andy says:

oh, and I like our gym better, smelly mats and all :-)

  9. Dick says:

    I think 9 rounds 3 box HSPU, 5 Squat thrusts and 5 Pull-ups.
    Split Jerks: 135 155 165 185F 175

Ian- for me it was my hip bones on my lower back.

Andy- I like our dirty smelly gym better too. Except their pull-up bar rocks!! No blisters or tearing of skin. I could get used to St Paul, though. Seem like nice folks.

Bob- I don’t know too many lakes around here, depending on where you live, Bald Eagle and White Bear should be okay for mornings.

dude, anywhere with a boat. that’s our first objective. so if anyone has one of those relatively close, and when i say relative i mean i’d drive a ways, we could make this happen. and yes greg, wakeboarding too. it would be fun to get a crew together.

  11. Dave says:

    Fellas (and Jess),

If you assemble this crew for some lake time I am most definitely in. Dont have a boat, but I’ve got snaps on the petrol.

Yesterday – 15 and 2/3, maxed at 195 for Jerks.

  12. Greg says:

Turns out my friend in Detroit I used to wakeboard with is selling his boat. Anyone want to buy a boat? I can’t swing it, or I would.

  13. Mike says:

So, who’s asleep at the wheel on the website? (Looking at you, Quinn.)

I’d fine him, but he’s asleep at the wheel on the Kangaroo Court as well.

    11 rds + 7/5 (20# Med Ball) for Tuesday’s WOD.

  14. Scott says:

Monday 4/13: 8 rounds and rubber legs. Thanks for the constructive feedback Andy and Tyler.

  15. Stephanie says:

10 rounds + 1 med ball clean…that’s right, squeezed in that last ONE!

  16. Tyler Quinn says:

    Hey all,

The server is down so I’m unable to update the site for about 48 hours. But believe that the WODs will keep coming…

  17. Ian says:

    10 + 7 + 4

  18. Andy says:

    7 med ball cleans/7 burpees
    I got 8 rounds + 5 cleans

  19. Ginger says:

  20. Dick says:

10 rounds of 7 med ball cleans and 7 burpees in 12 minutes

  21. Deborah says:

16 rounds right at the last second….. Tuesday’s WOD
